Es ist schon unheimlich, als Nikki ihren engsten Highschool-Freunden eine Einladung schickt, diese App runterzuladen. Denn Nikki ist tot. Ihr Herz ist einfach stehengeblieben. Doch die Neugier besiegt den Horror und schnell haben alle „Mr. BeDevil“ auf dem Smartphone. Zuerst bietet er allerlei nützliche Dienste an. Aber dann beginnt das Grauen. Denn Mr. BeDevil findet die schlimmsten Ängste seiner User und lässt sie real werden. So ist Nikki gestorben – vor Furcht. Verzweifelt suchen die Freunde nach einem Ausweg. Deinstallieren kann man die App nicht und zerstörte Smartphones reparieren sich selbst. Panik ist Mr. BeDevils Lebenselixier und der Tod sein Fest.
